![]() I've ordered a couple packing cubes to make the swap out from traveling to edc more convenient, as well as a smaller toiletry bag. The aesthetics matched with the ruggedness and mega compartmentalization capabilities are sweet. ![]() I don't have a lot of experience with it thus far, but I took it for an overnighter and packed what I'd want for 2-3 days. I do think if I got the regular size TP3 I'd want it to strap down further than it would, when using as edc. I'm pretty happy with that set up and ease of entry, but if I was a smaller person I might care more about minimizing the profile a bit more. I thought I'd care about how much it can compress, but as a big guy myself, I really don't see a need to strap it down much further than it can get with the limitations of having the straps above the main compartment zipper, if at all. I wanted something that was good for onebag business travel with the ability to use as edc on location/ personal item under the seat on the plane, with plenty of organization and it really fits the bill. I researched lots of bags for my first onebag focused bag, and ended up telling the wife I wanted Santa to get me that one. I got the TP3 Small in olive green for Christmas. I'd love to see some image examples of your bag and how it's looking :D. TLDR how well does the aer compress if empty? How is yours packed and does that work for you? And lastly how do you compare the 28L and 35L in terms of size and fitting? I'd love to hear some feedback on the bags :). If it compresses that much it doesn't look as bulky but can still carry more if needed. I'm not a small guy around 1,90m and the 35L version is only 20 dollars more. Last but not least I'm wondering if I should go for the smaller 28L version or not. I'm interested in how you pack and organize your bag (aer travel pack 3) and if you use the tech pockets a lot. Next to that the organisation and pockets. How well does the bag compress? Is it similar to their website' image preview? If so it's aesthetic will be very fitting for EDC. One of the main things why I consider this bag is the compression to make it look smaller when nothing or not much is packed. However if the bag will last me 5-10 years it's definitely worth it It's quite a big price tag especially with the included hipbelt and 40€ shipping to Europe. I'm just very curious on your opinions and experience with one of these bags. I'm eyeing the AER travel pack 3 for a onebag to use for everything ranging from work to travel or weekend getaways.
